The city secured 138 million won in national funding for the event. During the event period, users will receive 5% cashback on payments made at any Icheon Sarang local currency merchant using funds they topped up themselves. Payments made using incentive funds or policy support payments are not eligible.
This cashback will be provided separately from the existing 10% top-up incentive and the 10% cashback for payments under the Small Shop Love program. The consumer support payment (cashback) is capped at 20,000 won per person and is valid for three months.
The city expects the event to ease the burden of spending on residents and increase spending within the local area.
