Held at Pine Beach for the second consecutive year, the tournament featured 84 players, including 15 KLPGA players, competing for a total prize purse of $2.35 million (about 3.2 billion won). Japan's Yuri Yoshida won with a final score of 17 under par.
BS Group said, "During the tournament, domestic and international visitors flocked to accommodations, restaurants and tourist attractions around Haenam, bringing vitality to local businesses," adding, "The event provided an opportunity to promote the Haenam region through global broadcasts."
Pine Beach has three courses—Pine, Beach and Oceano—with a total of 27 holes. Ten of the holes run along the sea. Ahead of last year's tournament, the fairway turf was replaced with zoysia grass. A program that lets visitors walk the course was also introduced.
This year, Pine Beach was included for the first time in the "2026 World's 100 Greatest Golf Resorts," selected by U.S. golf publications Golf.com and Golf Magazine. The list evaluates golf courses, accommodations, food and beverage, services and other factors.
