Aribio Holdings Signs Agreement to Acquire GreenPlus
Aribio Holdings has signed an agreement to acquire GreenPlus.
According to Aribio Holdings on October 28, the total purchase price for the shares, acquired through the purchase of existing shares and participation in a paid-in capital increase through a third-party allotment, is KRW 14.956 billion. The shares are scheduled to be acquired on December 8. The company also decided to acquire convertible bonds worth KRW 3 billion.
This acquisition is a strategic decision aimed at strengthening competitiveness in lighting, electrical construction and solar power businesses, and expanding the group's management business. The plan is to combine the two companies' manufacturing, construction and energy business capabilities to broaden revenue opportunities and put into practice the growth strategy presented at the vision declaration ceremony.
At a vision declaration ceremony on October 1, Aribio Group unveiled a full-cycle business strategy linking Aribio Lab's "prevention," Aribio's "treatment" and Aribio Holdings' "management."
Aribio Holdings plans to link GreenPlus's capabilities in the design and construction of advanced greenhouses and smart farms, as well as its aluminum materials production base, with its lighting and electrical construction businesses. The plan is to diversify product supply channels and expand business areas by leveraging the two companies' customer bases and sales networks.
The companies will also strengthen their cooperation in the solar power sector. They plan to combine GreenPlus's capabilities in structures and equipment with the holding company's electrical construction technology to enhance their ability to execute projects across the entire solar facility construction process.
Cooperation between the businesses is also expected to contribute to improved profitability. The strategy is to improve operational efficiency and build a stable revenue structure by integrating the two companies' capabilities, from design and materials supply to construction.
