Duoback Appoints Jung Younga as New CEO... "Will Do Our Utmost to Restore Corporate Value"
Duoback has appointed a new CEO and is stepping up efforts to normalize its operations.
According to Duoback on October 26, following the sudden death of its late CEO Jung Kwanyoung, the company appointed inside director Jung Younga as CEO at an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting and board meeting on October 20, 2026. It also completed the process of changing its largest shareholder to Jung Younga and five others.
CEO Jung said, “With advice from an external law firm, we are responding in good faith to the substantive review of our listing eligibility.” She added, “We will promptly disclose any matters that could affect investment decisions in accordance with relevant laws and disclosure regulations, and respond to all shareholders using the same standards.” She continued, “As the largest shareholder and CEO, I will lead the company responsibly, building on the work that former CEO Jung devoted his life to,” and said, “I will do my utmost to resume trading as soon as possible and restore the company’s value.”
Duoback has made normalizing its operations its top priority and is focusing the company’s resources on the substantive review of its listing eligibility, with advice from an external law firm. However, because procedural rules restrict the disclosure of specific details about matters under review, the company plans to provide updates within the scope of what it is permitted to disclose. It plans to transparently disclose any matters that could affect investment decisions in accordance with relevant laws and disclosure regulations, and respond to shareholder inquiries consistently to ensure fairness in the provision of information.
