Route 2-2 to Change in November
Guri City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Shin Donghwa), announced on the 26th that it will change village bus routes 3 and 6 starting November 1 to improve mobility for residents in areas with limited access to public transportation. Route 2-2 will also be revised sometime in November.
The changes aim to improve transportation in areas where bus services have been inconvenient and make everyday facilities, including markets, supermarkets, and sports facilities, more accessible.
Route 3 will be extended from Geombae Intersection to Saeeum Church. Two buses will operate every 37 to 50 minutes, with departures from the starting point between 5:40 a.m. and 11:20 p.m.
Route 6 will be changed to connect Geombae Sports and Culture Center with the Wangsukcheon area. Two buses will operate every 40 minutes, with departures from the starting point between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Route 2-2 is planned to be changed from its existing Donggureung section to a route that passes through Lotte Mart, the Agricultural and Marine Products Market, and Nonghyup Hanaro Mart. After the change, buses will run every 35 to 45 minutes. The start date will be announced later.
