Twenty companies, including Coupang Fulfillment Services Co., Ltd. and the Gyeonggi Express and Daewon Express branches, took part in the fair. Of the approximately 650 job seekers who visited the venue, 264 had on-site interviews. The city expects the final number of people hired to rise after second-round interviews and follow-up hiring procedures are completed.

One-on-one interviews between companies and job seekers, as well as employment counseling, were held at the venue. Relevant organizations, including the Employment Welfare Plus Center, Gwangju Senior Club and a welfare center for people with disabilities, also took part and provided employment services tailored to job seekers' circumstances and needs.

Employment support programs included free résumé photo sessions using artificial intelligence (AI), job-seeking aptitude analyses and individual color analyses. Around 100 vocational high school students also had opportunities to explore career paths and strengthen their job skills through a special lecture on using AI.

Gwangju Mayor Park Gwan Yeol said, "This was an opportunity for citizens seeking jobs and companies looking for talent to meet and expand tangible employment opportunities. We will expand employment services tailored to the needs of local businesses and job seekers, and work to create quality jobs."
