Kim, currently ranked 14th in the world and the highest-ranked Korean player, has four career PGA Tour wins but has not won a tournament since the Sony Open in January 2023. Katsuragawa Yuto of Japan won the tournament. He carded an even-par 71 with one birdie and one bogey to claim victory by two strokes at 13-under 271. It was his second career DP World Tour title, following the 2024 ISPS Handa Championship. He earned $680,000 in prize money (about 900 million won).
