The event opened with a congratulatory performance by Chrome, the dance club at Guri Girls' High School. It featured promotional booths for seven local high schools and major-experience booths for seven specialized high schools and two universities. A counseling area staffed by career and vocational guidance counselors and university students was also available.
Students heard from current teachers about high school life and took part in activities such as designing schedules under the high school credit system and operating robot cars. Middle school students received high school admissions counseling, while high school students could speak with university students, helping students at each grade level address their career concerns.
Career exploration programs were also held, including "Today, I'm a Firefighter" by Guri Fire Station and career experiences featuring officers and noncommissioned officers from the Republic of Korea Army Personnel Command.
Guri Mayor Shin Donghwa said, "The experiences students gain by seeing, making, and asking questions firsthand will serve as a strong foundation for their career choices. We will continue to expand diverse learning opportunities so young people can experience a wider world."
