Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) said it held the launch ceremony for "LH AI Frontier" at its Seoul Regional Headquarters on October 22.

Previously, the corporation selected 150 employees with expertise in their respective fields as first-generation members and established a separate organization to drive a transition focused on fieldwork. Early this year, it selected about 150 additional second-generation members, bringing the program to a total of 300 participants. The 139 members selected for the third generation will receive AI skills training over the next year and work to solve challenges in their jobs using AI or share their work know-how with colleagues.

At the launch ceremony, LH President Lee Seonghun said, "To meet national challenges such as rapidly supplying housing and building the foundations for advanced industries, we must deliver the largest volume of projects ever at an unprecedented pace. This is the time to change our ways of working and public services under a paradigm unlike that of the past. The AI transformation is a key strategy for management innovation."

LH said it would expand the use of AI across field operations, with LH AI Frontier at the center, and share best practices. President Lee said, "I will take the lead in supporting and promoting the creation of results from companywide AX (AI transformation)."
