Over about an hour, they removed approximately 42 kilograms of invasive plants, including Japanese hop, which impedes the growth of native plants, from an area of about 2,200 square meters along the stream.
At nearby Geumtocheon, employees also put 350 balls made with effective microorganisms (EM) into the water. Hanwha Vision plans to continue regular cleanup activities to preserve the ecosystem, focusing on Unjungcheon near its business site.
