"Even Non-Majors Can Pursue Jobs at Samsung Electronics and Hyundai Motor"... Asia Business Daily Recruits for AI and Data Boot Camp With 4.8 Satisfaction Rating
- Four months of intensive training in data analytics, generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and vibe coding
- Create at least three practical portfolio projects... Career support includes certification exams, competitions, and job referrals to partner companies.
"I want to learn AI, but can I do it without any coding experience?"
The Asia Business Daily Education Center announced that it is recruiting students for the seventh cohort of its practical AI boot camp, the "AI- and Data Analysis-Based Industrial Service Planning and Development Course," for non-majors preparing for careers in artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytics.
The course is a government-funded program under the Ministry of Employment and Labor's K-Digital Training (KDT) initiative. It has earned a satisfaction rating of 4.8 out of 5 for three consecutive years. Over approximately four months, students will receive intensive training in everything from data analytics and AI model development to building real-world web-based services.
The employment outcomes for graduates are also noteworthy. Graduates of previous courses have found jobs across a range of industries and roles at companies including Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motor, LG Electronics, KT, NHN, Nexon, Coupang, Mirae Asset Securities, and Hana Bank, turning the skills they learned into career opportunities.
Unlike conventional coding classes or data analytics courses, this AI boot camp focuses on developing end-to-end practical skills, from analyzing data to building and deploying real business services based on the results.
Students will learn foundational technologies such as Python, SQL, databases, big data analytics, data visualization with Power BI, and machine learning and deep learning. They will then apply the latest AI development technologies, including generative AI, large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agents, and vibe coding.
In particular, students will work hands-on with AI agents and generative AI to collect and analyze data, automate work, integrate AI models, and plan, develop, and deploy web services. They can choose a project topic from industries such as finance, marketing, retail, manufacturing, and platforms, making it possible to apply their academic background and experience to AI technologies.
During the course, students will complete at least three practical portfolio projects through a series of projects at different levels. Team projects will give them the opportunity to strengthen their collaboration and practical skills by solving real-world development challenges, including data errors, declining AI model performance, and service integration issues. The program also supports participation in competitions organized by government ministries, giving students a chance to win awards and use their submissions in their portfolios.
The program also offers step-by-step foundational training for non-majors and a dedicated instructor mentoring system. Students will have access to high-performance PCs, paid AI development tools, and a study space open 24 hours a day. The program also covers exam fees for certifications such as SQLD and ADsP, and offers opportunities to participate in AI hackathons and competitions, attend industry seminars, and present at demo days.
After completing the course, students can prepare for careers in a range of roles, including data analyst, data scientist, AI and machine learning engineer, generative AI developer, data engineer, and AI service planner and developer. The education center also provides tailored employment support, including referrals to partner companies and interview consulting.
A representative of the education center said, "Companies today are looking for people who can do more than simply use AI. They want people who can solve problems using data and turn solutions into real services. We will provide training that helps non-majors combine AI technologies with their academic backgrounds and experience to gain a competitive edge in the job market."
