SAMG Entertainment's "Catch! Teenieping" Season 7 to Premiere Nov. 18, Expanding IP Through K-Pop and Offline Events
SAMG Entertainment's flagship intellectual property (IP), "Catch! Teenieping," is returning for its seventh season. This time, the company is expanding the IP business beyond content into various fields by combining animation with music, K-pop artist collaborations, and offline pop-up stores.
SAMG Entertainment announced on October 23 that its new animated series, "Jewel Star Catch! Teenieping," will premiere on November 18. The season consists of 20 episodes, each 11 minutes long. The first episode will air at 7 p.m. on JEI TV, and will also be available on the global over-the-top (OTT) streaming service Disney+ from 8 p.m. that same day.
Season 7 is set at the Emotion Festival, a music festival held in the Emotion Kingdom. It tells the story of the protagonist Romi's adventures with new Royal Teeniepings as they search for the missing Legend Teenieping and work to put on the festival.
In this season, Hachuping, Lemonping, Cherryping, and Limeping appear as the idol group T-nyz. Ahead of the broadcast, SAMG Entertainment released T-nyz's song and music video on October 22, giving audiences an early look at the music content.
"Catch! Teenieping" is a flagship IP that SAMG Entertainment has developed beyond animation into areas such as toys and licensing. To date, it has introduced a total of 153 characters, establishing a business foundation encompassing both content and character merchandise.
In Season 7, music serves as a central theme, while collaborations with real-life K-pop artists are also intended to expand the fan base. A key piece of content is the OST "Heart Stage," produced in collaboration with K-pop artist PLAVE. In September 2026, PLAVE introduced the collaboration track during an official Weverse Live.
By connecting the animated idol group concept with real music releases and artist collaborations, the series has created an opportunity to reach not only its existing audience of children and families but also K-pop fans, the company said.
The company will also continue to hold events where audiences can experience the content and characters in person. SAMG Entertainment is partnering with Hyundai Premium Outlets to operate pop-up stores at seven locations across the country.
Following the opening at the Gimpo location on October 15, 2026, pop-ups will be held in Daejeon, Busan, Songdo, Daegu, Cheongju, and Space One in succession through March 2027. The venues will feature a giant Hachuping balloon, a themed stage, and photo zones, along with various events such as "Teenieping Sing-Along" sessions and character photo opportunities.
SAMG Entertainment plans to expand its engagement with families visiting the pop-ups by providing opportunities to experience the animated characters and music in person.

Teenieping' through a variety of touchpoints, including music, characters, and on-site activities."
