The delegation will work to identify potential customers and build cooperative networks by taking part in export consultations with local buyers and visiting economic organizations, alongside companies in the fields of auto parts, industrial materials, food and household goods.
In particular, an auto lighting parts company that previously withdrew from the Malaysian market amid competition with low-priced Chinese products has joined the delegation to explore a return to the market.
The delegation also plans to visit local manufacturing organizations and auto parts associations to discuss ways to expand industrial exchanges.
Chilgok County plans to use the network of buyers and economic organizations established during the visit to support follow-up consultations and identify potential customers. It will also strengthen follow-up management to help turn export consultations into actual contracts.
“The local government will directly promote the technological capabilities and product competitiveness of local companies and support them so that local buyers can trade with confidence,” Governor Kim said. “We will actively support companies in securing new customers and expanding exports.”
