Law&Company is participating in the event for the second consecutive year. Last year, it took part through a program organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) to support Korean SaaS companies’ expansion into Japan.
Lexpand AI is a global legal AI service that provides integrated support for nine Asian jurisdictions on a single platform. It was developed as an Asia-focused service based on Super Lawyer’s AI capabilities and service operations expertise.
Amid rapidly changing social conditions, demand for specialized legal services across various fields is growing in Japan. At the same time, the country has a high proportion of small law firms, creating significant potential demand for the adoption of AI technology.
According to market research firm Precedence Research, Japan’s legal services market was worth approximately 67 trillion won in 2025 and is projected to grow to about 179 trillion won by 2035.
Early reactions to Lexpand AI in Japan have been positive. As of October 16, approximately 75% of its monthly active users were from Japan, the largest share among all Asian jurisdictions.
Visitors to the exhibition took note of Super Lawyer’s success in establishing itself in the market as Korea’s first legal AI service and expressed high expectations for Lexpand AI.
