Gangnam-gu to Bring 280 Scattered AI Courses Together in Monthly "Learning Map"
Information from nine departments brought together
Step-by-step guide from basic skills to employment and entrepreneurship
Seoul's Gangnam-gu will publish a monthly guide bringing together information on artificial intelligence (AI) and digital education programs that had been scattered across various departments.
Gangnam-gu, headed by District Chief Kim Hyun-ki, announced on Oct. 22 that it will begin publishing the "Gangnam Monthly AI Learning Map" this month. The comprehensive guide lists 280 AI courses offered by nine departments. It was created in response to concerns that, because AI and digital education programs had been run separately by each department, residents found it difficult to get an overview of available courses or find programs suited to their needs.
The learning map includes information on target participants, course content, schedules, and how to apply. Courses are organized by level, from basic digital skills for beginners to AI education focused on practical applications, advanced programs, and training linked to employment and entrepreneurship, enabling residents to choose courses based on their skills and needs. The district said it also focused on showing the connections between individual programs and how the courses progress.
The guide is available in print at local educational facilities, libraries, and multipurpose cultural centers. It can also be accessed on the Gangnam-gu Lifelong Learning website (www.longlearn.go.kr).

"We will continue to develop and connect customized educational programs that can help residents take their digital skills to the next level."
