[Law Firms Now] YK Launches "Closer-to-the-Client Service" for Corporate Clients, Introduces Transportation Management System (TMS)
"Legal consultations are going mobile"
Direct visits to corporate sites... Strengthening face-to-face legal services
For use by personnel handling B2B, corporate legal matters, and external work
Law Firm YK, led by Managing Attorneys Kang Kyung-hoon and Kim Beom-han, has significantly expanded its fleet of vehicles for client visits and begun offering a “closer-to-the-client service” in earnest for corporate clients.
YK said on October 21 that, in line with the expansion of its B2B and corporate legal services, it had added dozens of vehicles to support external work and introduced a Transportation Management System (TMS).

View original imageThe expanded vehicle operations and introduction of the TMS are intended to smoothly support external work, including client visits and off-site meetings by attorneys handling B2B and corporate legal matters. The aim is to create more opportunities for attorneys to visit companies in person and communicate with clients, while improving the accessibility of corporate legal services and the firm’s ability to respond on site.
The TMS will be used by attorneys handling B2B and corporate legal matters, as well as other key personnel who carry out external work. It will integrate the management of vehicle demand and dispatch status.
As its B2B and corporate legal work has recently expanded, YK has seen increased demand for external work, including client visits and off-site meetings, and is strengthening its related support systems. The expanded vehicle operations and introduction of the TMS are also steps to reinforce the infrastructure for external work in line with the growth of its corporate legal services.
Corporate legal matters, including contracts, labor, disputes, and regulatory compliance, are closely connected to the actual business environment. Depending on the matter, it may be necessary to inspect on-site conditions that are difficult to assess through written or phone consultations alone and discuss specific issues with company representatives.
When attorneys visit clients in person, companies can avoid the burden of having to travel elsewhere and discuss legal issues in greater detail, drawing on their actual business environment and relevant materials. Attorneys, in turn, can gain a more concrete understanding of a company’s circumstances by directly observing its facilities and working environment.
Through this expansion of its support system, YK plans to increase face-to-face interactions with corporate clients and continue strengthening the operational infrastructure that supports client visits as its corporate legal services grow.
