Attendees included Yang Giyeong, head of the city's Future City Development Task Force, and the head of LH's Namyangju Business Headquarters, along with other officials from both organizations. They shared updates on lot sales at the Wangsuk Urban High-Tech Industrial Complex and trends in companies' investment inquiries, and discussed strategies for attracting companies that had made inquiries and ways to ease the burden of moving into the complex.
The city asked LH to review the supply terms to attract anchor companies that will play a key role in the industrial complex at an early stage and improve conditions for companies moving in. LH agreed to share the results of its review at the next regular meeting.
The two organizations plan to develop specific measures for cooperation so that investment inquiries lead to companies actually moving in. Through the working group, they will regularly review issues related to attracting companies and cooperate on investment attraction in major development areas, including Yangjeong Station Area and Jinjeop 2 District, as well as the Wangsuk Urban High-Tech Industrial Complex.
