Everland: "Peak Fall Foliage" Starts This Weekend... "Come See the Golden Trails"
Fall Foliage Brings Autumn Charm to Everland and Surrounding Areas
Sky Garden Road, Ginkgo Tree Path, Driving Routes and More
Variety of Experiences, Including Trekking and Meditation, on Offer
With the autumn season in full swing, colorful fall foliage trails will come into view at Everland starting this weekend.
Samsung C&T Resort Group said on October 21 that the leaves at Everland and its surrounding areas are expected to begin turning in earnest this weekend.
Tens of thousands of trees from around 10 species, including maple, ginkgo, and zelkova, are taking on autumn colors at Everland. The foliage is expected to peak between late October and early November.
Everland is a popular destination for enjoying autumn scenery in a variety of ways, including walking along trails and viewing the foliage from rides. There is also a driving course where visitors can take in the surrounding scenery from their cars.

More than 10,000 trees and shrubs, including plum trees and burning bushes, are changing color, while kochia, which turns red earlier than other plants, is also at its peak.
The Ginkgo Tree Path, which runs along the Rose Garden perimeter, is another popular autumn walking route. Yellow ginkgo leaves form a golden tunnel, and when they fall, the path itself turns yellow. Nearby, visitors can enjoy autumn flowers and garden scenery at Four Seasons Garden.
There are also unique routes for viewing the foliage from rides. On Thunder Falls, which travels along rushing water, visitors can see the autumn leaves in the surrounding forest up close. The wooden roller coaster Monimo RUSH offers thrills as it races along after reaching its highest point, 56 meters above the ground, where riders can take in the autumn scenery.
The road leading to Everland is also a popular spot for fall foliage. Along the approximately 5-kilometer road that winds along the mountainside from Maseong Tollgate to the main entrance, visitors can admire the foliage on both sides from their cars.
Everland is also offering special programs for an immersive experience in the autumn forest. Starting October 30, it plans to hold a fall foliage experience program at the Secret Ginkgo Forest for members of Garden Pass, its garden subscription service.
The Secret Ginkgo Forest, located on the slopes of Hyangsu Mountain in Sinwon-ri near Everland, covers approximately 150,000 square meters and is home to about 30,000 ginkgo trees. Planted in the 1970s as part of a reforestation effort, the trees have grown for more than half a century to form a large grove. In autumn, the ginkgo trees turn golden, creating a spectacular sight.
The forest was first opened to the general public on a trial basis in 2024, and all sessions sold out within two minutes of registration opening. Last year, the program was offered to Garden Pass subscribers and received a positive response.
This year's program offers a variety of experiences, including a trek through the ginkgo forest accompanied by commentary from a professional docent and forest meditation while reclining in a hammock.
