AI Contract Management Solution 'Modusign Cabinet' Expands Contract AX Across Industries
Establishing Industry-Specific Contract Management Systems Across Manufacturing, Franchising, Medical Devices, Education, and the Public Sector
Modusign said on October 21 that since its official launch, its AI contract management solution, Modusign Cabinet, has been adopted across a range of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, food service and franchising, education, and the public sector, strengthening AI transformation (AX) in contract management.
Modusign Cabinet is an AI contract management solution that consolidates and turns fragmented contract data, including paper and electronic contracts, into unified assets, and automates the entire process after a contract is signed, including expiration, renewal, and risk management.
In the manufacturing and distribution industries, where Cabinet has been adopted most widely, companies have improved work efficiency by consolidating scattered contracts across their organizations. Shinsung Tongsang, which operates the fashion brand TOPTEN, brought paper and electronic contract documents that had been managed separately by department together in one place, cutting the time needed to check the original contract for a specific store from one hour to 30 seconds. Vatech Ewoo Holdings, a holding company for a group of dental medical device companies, consolidated contracts from more than 30 affiliates and overseas entities and introduced automated tracking of renewal clauses, reducing the time needed to check expiration dates for contracts due for renewal from 30 minutes to five minutes.
In the franchise industry, where companies need to work with many franchisees, Cabinet is used to systematically manage large volumes of contracts and prevent missed renewals. Bon Food Service, a comprehensive food service company, configured the system to automatically classify contracts from five divisions and 37 teams and assign access permissions as soon as documents are uploaded, eliminating the repeated work of redistributing documents whenever the organization is restructured. Park Seung-cheol Hair Studio addressed the problem of lost paper contracts by linking electronic signatures so that franchise agreements are automatically stored as soon as they are signed.
Use of the solution is also expanding into education and the public sector. Sahmyook University replaced Excel-based manual entry for managing employee contracts with automated storage and information extraction, and is using automatic expiration notifications to prevent missed renewals in advance.
