Hanam City, Gyeonggi Province, will hold an integrated job fair for job seekers across generations, from young people to middle-aged and older adults.
Hanam City (Mayor Lee Hyun-jae) announced on October 20 that it will hold the "Hanam City On Sidae + Gyeonggi 5070 Job Fair" from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on October 30 at Gymnasium 2 of Hanam Sports Complex.
Held under the slogan "Connecting All Generations, Opening Tomorrow!", the event is designed to provide employment opportunities and tailored job-seeking support services to young people, middle-aged and older adults, people with disabilities, and women with career experience.
The city has brought together the Gyeonggi 5070 Job Fair, previously held for specific groups, and recruitment events for young people and women. The number of companies and institutions participating in on-site recruitment has also increased from 30 to 40, expanding job seekers' choices.
The recruitment area is expected to include Lotte Medical Foundation's Bobath Memorial Hospital, CAS, Ilyang Pharmaceutical, Coupang Fulfillment Services, Daewoo Elevator, Hyundai Green Food, Gyeonggi Sangun, Hanam Post Office, and the Gwangju Hanam Office of Education.
Details on job categories, the number of positions, and qualifications will be available from the fourth week of October on the Hanam City Hall, Hanam Job Center, and Gyeonggi 5070 Job Fair websites. Job seekers who wish to take part in on-site interviews can check each company's hiring requirements and prepare a resume and the required documents.
An information booth will also provide employment counseling and details about job policies. The Gyeonggi Job Foundation, Hanam Employment Welfare Plus Center, Women's Career Reconnection Center, Youth Support Center, Hanam City Welfare Center for Persons with Disabilities, the Employment Support Center of the Hanam City Branch of the Korean Senior Citizens Association, and the Hanam Senior Club will participate, providing information tailored to job seekers' ages and circumstances.
Side events will include AI-assisted resume writing, resume photo sessions, personal color analysis, interview makeup, and career coaching.
Anyone seeking employment may attend. Participants can register in advance on the job fair website by the day before the event or register at the venue on the day.
