Matchmaking Firm Gayeon Successfully Wraps Up First Free Singles Mixer... "Recruiting Participants for Second Event"
"Love in Gayeon" Second Event to Be Held on October 31
Eight Men and Eight Women to Be Selected, Offering a Safe Opportunity to Meet Through Identity Verification
Gayeon Marriage Information Co., Ltd. said it had successfully concluded the first of two free singles mixer events held to mark its 20th anniversary and is now recruiting participants for the second event.
In August, Gayeon held the first free singles mixer, “Love in Gayeon,” for single men and women in their 20s and 30s. The event was designed to provide a trustworthy opportunity to meet others for those seeking a natural way to connect. In a participant satisfaction survey that allowed multiple responses, more than half of respondents cited “meeting someone whose identity had been verified” as a satisfying aspect of the event.
After receiving a large number of applications for the first event, Gayeon added a second event. Applications for the second event have also continued to come in, and recruitment is now nearing its close.
The second singles mixer will also be open to participants who have completed identity verification in advance. Those who are ultimately selected must submit an employment certificate, an educational background certificate, and a marriage relationship certificate. Participants in professional occupations must also submit relevant licenses. Through these verification procedures, Gayeon is organizing the event to help participants meet new people in a more reassuring environment.
The event is open to non-member single men and women in their 20s and 30s who are interested in Gayeon. Eight men and eight women, 16 participants in total, will be selected. To mark the company’s 20th anniversary, participation is entirely free. Drawing on the event team’s expertise, the program will be hosted by a professional MC and include a variety of activities, such as icebreakers, one-on-one rotating conversations, and games with prizes.
In particular, the free singles mixer targeting non-members appears to be a strategy to lower the psychological barriers to using matchmaking services, expand Gayeon’s engagement with potential customers in their 20s and 30s, and strengthen trust in the brand.
A Gayeon representative said, “Over the past 20 years, we have seen countless people meet, and one thing has remained clear: even as the ways people meet change, the desire for a trustworthy connection does not. Encouraged by the support for our first event, we will make careful preparations to help participants form meaningful connections at the second event as well.”
