It is organized by the Geumcheon Welfare Center for Persons with Disabilities with support from the district. Around 500 supporters and 60 volunteers will also take part.
The event features floor curling, in which players roll stones across a flat surface using their hands or assistive devices instead of playing on ice. The competition will be held in a tournament format. A separate activity area will offer new sports programs, including Hangung, allowing residents who come to cheer to participate themselves. Lunch boxes sponsored by private companies will also be provided to participants.
