Kumho Tire is providing on-site maintenance support to help ensure the driving safety of large commercial vehicles that frequently travel long distances.
Kumho Tire said on October 20 that it will offer free tire inspections and hold a safe-driving campaign for large trucks and buses at major highway rest stops nationwide on October 22 and 23.
The campaign will take place at four highway rest stops: Songsan Podo (Sihung-bound), Yeoju (Gangneung-bound), Sintanjin (Seoul-bound), and Chilgok (Seoul-bound). During the campaign, commercial vehicle drivers visiting these rest stops can have Kumho Tire experts inspect their tires’ exterior and wear for free. Tire pressure and wheel balance checks will also be available to customers who request them, and visitors will receive small commemorative gifts.
At the sites, visitors can learn about and receive personalized consultations on four of Kumho Tire’s key truck and bus radial (TBR) tires: the KXA31, KXA17, KXD10, and KXS10. The campaign will also inform visiting drivers about types of tire accidents and safety precautions, while promoting ways to prevent accidents and fires involving large trucks. Kumho Tire holds free inspection campaigns for passenger car and commercial vehicle customers every year to raise awareness of tire safety management.
