Babitalk Targets English- and Chinese-Speaking Markets
Global services expanded to four languages
Enhancing the AI-powered "K-Beauty Korea Travel Guide"
Medical beauty platform Babitalk announced on October 20 that it will expand its global services into English-speaking and Chinese-speaking markets, building on the growth it has seen in Japan.
Starting October 13, Babitalk added English and Simplified and Traditional Chinese to its existing Japanese service, increasing the number of supported languages to four. As overseas demand for Korean medical beauty services grows, the company aims to expand its reach among global users by creating an environment where they can search for treatment and clinic information in their own language before traveling to Korea.
The service expansion focuses on making it easier for users to find information. Babitalk will provide information on Korean clinics and treatment events tailored to each language group, while presenting basic information, including prices, according to the same standards regardless of language settings. It will manage the accuracy of information and translation quality by using both AI and professional localization staff.
The foundation for global expansion is the operational performance demonstrated by its service in Japan. Babitalk has expanded its reach among local users, launching a web service in Japan in August 2025 and an app in February 2026. According to the company's internal data, as of September 2026, monthly active users (MAU) had increased about 12-fold compared with the early days of the app launch. Views of treatment and clinic information rose about 15-fold, while the number of consultations increased sixfold, showing that information searches were leading to actual consultations.
Building on this growth, Babitalk will also enhance its AI-powered travel guide service. It plans to expand its "K-Beauty Korea Travel Guide," previously available in Japanese, to English and Chinese, while evolving it from a question-and-answer format into a conversational service that takes users' conversational context into account.
