The Rainbow Classroom is KB Securities' flagship social contribution program, supporting improvements to the learning and living environments of future generations in Korea and abroad. Since its launch in 2009, the program has steadily expanded. Including this latest Rainbow Classroom in Vietnam, a total of 42 classrooms have been completed: 25 in Korea and 17 overseas.
On October 14, KB Securities held a completion ceremony for the Overseas Rainbow Classroom at Lac Vien Middle School in Hai Phong, Vietnam. The project created an outdoor library where students can read and relax, as well as a counseling room to support their emotional well-being. It also renovated the school’s aging science classroom, providing a comfortable learning environment for creative, hands-on exploration.
The ceremony was attended by the head of KB Securities’ overseas business division, the head of its Vietnam subsidiary (KBSV), school officials, and students. KB Securities also donated school supplies to the students.
On October 13, KB Securities visited the University of Economics and Business (UEB) at Vietnam National University, Hanoi, one of Vietnam’s leading educational institutions, and held a scholarship presentation ceremony. The scholarships were established to help outstanding Vietnamese students focus on their studies and grow into future leaders. The initiative is also meaningful because it puts the value of mutual prosperity into practice through cooperation with the local community.
