A total of 60 employees representing their departments were selected for the AI Crew, which will lead efforts to improve work using AI and foster a culture of AI use within the organization.

They will build their AI skills while identifying a range of ways to apply AI in actual work processes and sharing them with colleagues in their departments.

In particular, BNK Kyongnam Bank plans to operate "Copilot Lab" to systematically develop the AI Crew and actively support employees in applying AI technologies in their day-to-day work.

At the launch ceremony, Lee Juhyeong, head of the AI/Digital Group, said, "Work innovation using AI starts with employees applying it directly in their daily work and creating change. I hope the AI Crew will identify new ways of working and play a central role in driving change. BNK Kyongnam Bank will continue to strengthen employees' ability to use AI and establish a culture of AI use throughout the organization."

Starting with the launch ceremony, the AI Crew will take part in "missions in stages" to promote the use of AI in work through the end of December.

For the first-stage mission, AI Crew members will complete assigned tasks and share examples of AI use at work. Rewards and recognition will be given based on their participation. For the second-stage mission, all AI Crew members will submit examples of AI use identified in their respective roles, and outstanding examples will be selected following a review.

Strengthening employees' AI capabilities is also expected to greatly benefit customers who use Kyongnam Bank.
