Kang Yewon Takes on Cosmetics Business... "Beauty Follows When Your Skin Is Healthy"
From Actor to Beauty Brand Planner
Actor Kang Yewon took part in the planning and product development of cosmetics brand ATENSE.
According to ATENSE on Oct. 19, Kang shared her opinions on everything from brand planning to product development, drawing on her own skincare experience. She also pursued the launch of a cosmetics brand about nine years ago.
Her involvement began with her personal skincare concerns. Kang said she became interested in skincare because "I am usually sensitive to redness, and my skin is so thin that I can't even get common cosmetic treatments."
She said that after trying a variety of cosmetics with the aesthetics clinic director who has worked with her for about 20 years, she wanted to develop products herself. She incorporated her own experience into product planning.
ATENSE has adopted "Slow Aging" as its brand concept, focusing on consistent care that takes the skin's natural changes into account. Kang also said she believes in maintaining the skin's usual condition rather than subjecting it to excessive stimulation.
