Korea Investment Management to List 'ACE U.S. CPU Semiconductor TOP3+' ETF on Oct. 20
Concentrated Investment in Three Leading CPU Companies
Growing Importance in the Age of Agentic AI
Korea Investment Management Co., Ltd. said on October 19 that it will newly list the ACE U.S. CPU Semiconductor TOP3+ ETF on October 20.
The ACE U.S. CPU Semiconductor TOP3+ ETF invests in U.S.-listed companies related to central processing units (CPUs). CPUs are gaining importance with the emergence of agentic artificial intelligence (AI). The ETF plans to invest in 10 related companies, including three leading CPU companies among U.S.-listed stocks.
The three leading CPU companies in which the ETF will concentrate its investments are Intel, AMD, and Arm. Intel and AMD already have established supply relationships with major cloud service providers, while Arm has been expanding its partnerships since launching a CPU for AI data centers in March. The ETF plans to maintain each of the three companies at around 25% of its holdings.
In addition to the three concentrated holdings, the ETF will select and add seven companies across the value chain, including those involved in server CPU production, memory, networking, and server manufacturing. It is designed to provide concentrated exposure to core CPU companies while also investing across the broader value chain expected to benefit from growing demand for server CPUs. If major related companies list after the ETF's launch, they may be added to the index following review by the index committee, no earlier than three business days after their listing date. However, the holdings mentioned may change at the time of the ETF's listing and during its management.

Nam Yongsoo, head of the ETF division at Korea Investment Management, said, "As the public's use of agentic AI grows, CPUs will become increasingly important for handling multiple tasks at once. That's why investors should pay attention not only to graphics processing units (GPUs), but also to the server CPU market." He added, "The ACE U.S. CPU Semiconductor TOP3+ ETF's strength is that it offers exposure in a single investment to leading companies in the CPU market as well as companies that manufacture server racks."
