In IDC's global Digital Workplace Services assessment
First South Korean company to be named
LG CNS said on October 19 that it had been named a "Major Player" in global market research firm IDC's "IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Digital Workplace Services (DWS) 2026 Vendor Assessment."
The assessment included 18 global companies, and LG CNS is the first South Korean company to be included.
IDC MarketScape is a vendor analysis model that evaluates the current business capabilities and future strategies of global IT companies. It provides a comprehensive analysis of product and service competitiveness, customer references, and actual customer experiences.
LG CNS's digital workplace service capabilities, centered on its agentic artificial intelligence (AI) service "a:xink," played a key role in its selection as a Major Player. IDC cited LG CNS's strengths in AI-native platform capabilities, expertise in regulated industries and secure, network-separated environments, and end-to-end project delivery capabilities.
In terms of its AI-native platform, a:xink goes beyond simple information searches and work support to autonomously perform actual tasks. It offers a range of agentic AI services, including Worx, an enterprise work portal and groupware; Worx M, a mobile work portal and groupware; Claw, a personal AI agent; Translator, an AI interpretation, translation, and meeting support service; and Doc, an AI document writing service.
IDC also cited LG CNS's experience in agentic AI projects in corporate environments that require a high level of security as a key strength. The IDC report stated, "Companies seeking to move beyond traditional digital workplace services to agent-based task execution should consider LG CNS as an innovative partner to support this transformation."
LG CNS said it had confirmed that applying its digital workplace services at LG Group affiliates' overseas sites in the United States, China, Singapore, and Germany had increased work productivity by 20-40%.
