DSC Subsidiary Ttoktok "Launches AI Agent 'DDworks'"
Set to be unveiled at a showcase in late October
Assists with tasks from contract review to report drafting
Ttoktok, a subsidiary of DSC Investment, has launched DDworks, an artificial intelligence (AI) work agent for the alternative investment industry, and IMworks, an integrated investment management service.
A Ttoktok official said on October 19, "We plan to hold a showcase at the Truston Building near Seoul Forest Station at the end of this month and unveil both products for the first time to industry professionals, including those at new technology business finance companies and corporate venture capital (CVC) firms."
DDworks connects investment and fund information stored in existing ERP (enterprise resource planning) systems with work materials such as contracts and meeting minutes. It searches for relevant information, organizes review findings, and drafts reports. The AI assists investment professionals with repetitive tasks, including reviewing contracts, monitoring portfolio companies after investment, and checking the status of investment exits. The person in charge directly checks the source materials and results before making the final decision.
Ttoktok has also comprehensively revamped its product portfolio, including by integrating its existing solutions with IMworks, its integrated investment management service. IMworks connects GPworks, an ERP system for fund managers; LPworks, a management solution for institutional investors; and STworks, a management solution for portfolio companies. It enables fund managers, investors, and portfolio companies to handle their work within a single system. The service is designed with a focus on the complex operations of CVCs, which may conduct direct investments, manage funds, and invest in funds managed by other firms at the same time.
Ttoktok also changed the name of its existing fund manager ERP, VCworks, to GPworks. The company said it updated the name to reflect its expanded support for various types of fund managers, including new technology business finance companies and private equity firms, as well as complex investment structures such as co-general partnerships (CoGPs) and special purpose companies (SPCs).
