Neighborhood Small and Medium-Sized Supermarkets Can Also Use Baemin's Infrastructure for 'Quick Commerce'
Baemin Partners with Togethers, a POS Provider Specializing in Supermarkets
Neighborhood small and medium-sized supermarkets can now use Baemin’s infrastructure to offer quick-commerce services on a par with large supermarkets.
Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baemin, said on October 18 that it has partnered with Togethers, a provider of point-of-sale (POS) solutions for small and medium-sized supermarkets, to build a system that links the POS systems used in supermarkets with the Baemin app. The system enables stores to handle quick-commerce sales from start to finish without entering orders separately. The two companies signed an agreement covering the partnership on the afternoon of October 16.

Through this partnership, around 5,000 small and medium-sized supermarkets that use Togethers’ POS systems can now easily access Baemin’s quick-commerce infrastructure. Tomato Food Mart became the first brand to join the platform earlier this month, with more brands expected to follow from next month.
Previously, these supermarkets had to use a separate program to process Baemin quick-commerce orders and enter sales made through the app separately into their inventory management systems. The partnership automates processes such as receiving quick-commerce orders, registering products in the app, managing inventory, and processing payments through their existing POS systems. This is expected to significantly improve both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
