Participants discussed identifying new business partners and opportunities for cooperation in consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, food and agricultural products, and industry-related sectors. In particular, the event yielded results in the agricultural products sector, including the signing of a contract.
That afternoon, the delegation visited the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), met with Vice Chairman Ahmet Oksuz, and discussed ways to expand trade and cooperation between the two countries. It then visited a local trade show to survey industry trends in packaging and biotechnology and held consultations with companies offering promising products and supplies in those sectors. The delegation is also scheduled to attend SIAL Paris 2026, a world-renowned international food exhibition, in Paris, France.
The Korea Importers Association plans to continue dispatching import delegations and attending international trade shows to secure a stable supply of raw materials needed by Korean industries, as well as agricultural, livestock, and consumer goods.
