Gyeonggi Province to Hold Funeral for Fire Lieutenant Kim Jinseok, Who Died in the Line of Duty, as a 'Gyeonggi Provincial Government Funeral'
Gyeonggi Province will hold a funeral under the auspices of the Gyeonggi Provincial Government for Fire Lieutenant Kim Jinseok, who died in the line of duty in a factory fire in Ojeong-gu, Bucheon.
Hong Eungwang, spokesperson for Gyeonggi Province, said in a written briefing on October 17, "Fire Lieutenant Kim Jinseok passed away early this morning. We join the people of the province in deeply mourning his noble sacrifice and dedication."
He added, "We extend our deepest condolences to his bereaved family. Gyeonggi Province will never forget his noble dedication."
Gyeonggi Governor Choo Mi-ae asked the province to make every effort to ensure that no detail is overlooked in honoring the deceased on his final journey.
