Malaysia, which acquired 18 of KAI's FA-50 light attack aircraft, has maintained a cooperative relationship with South Korea in the aerospace and defense sectors. The Royal Malaysian Air Force also participated in the volunteer work.
Twenty-six KAI employees painted a mural at the school, painted corridors, stairs and fences, installed fans and lights, and improved the library facilities. They refurbished aging educational facilities and spent time engaging with the local community.
The activity was part of Defense KAI, KAI's community service program. KAI supports vulnerable facilities and organizations in defense partner countries and potential export markets, building trusting relationships with local communities.
KAI has continued its overseas community service work, including a fundraising campaign for veterans and their families in the Philippines and volunteer work to rebuild a school in Indonesia.
