Addressing Han, Park said, "He must apply to his own daughter the same standards he applied to someone else's daughter. Only then can he be a responsible legal professional and politician," and called for an investigation into the allegations that Han's daughter falsified her credentials.
Park also demanded that Han disclose how he obtained a recording transcript related to a prosecution indictment plan that Han used during the confirmation hearing for former Justice Minister nominee Kim Seung-won. Park said, "Han must disclose whether he took the recording transcript of the prosecution's indictment plan and other materials used at the confirmation hearing for former Justice Minister nominee Kim Seung-won when he was serving as justice minister, or whether he obtained them through other means."
Park also brought up allegations that a plan to inspect the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) was disclosed in advance, as well as the party message board case. Park claimed that Han had "even committed an act benefiting the enemy by disclosing in advance a DMZ inspection plan that is a military secret," and that the party message board case was also under investigation.
Earlier on Friday, Cho said, regarding allegations that Han's daughter falsified her credentials, "The 'innocence' of Han Dong-hoon and his wife, and the 'genius' of Han Dong-hoon's daughter, should be verified through a 'Special Counsel Act on Han Dong-hoon.'" He called for passage of the bill, saying the prosecution and police had shown bias and been passive. Cho cited allegations involving Han's daughter's volunteer hours, ghostwriting of academic papers, app development, and laptop donations, and claimed that the related investigations had not been properly conducted.
