The session was organized to share the results of safety culture initiatives at each affiliate and spread best practices. It reviewed achievements and areas for improvement, focusing on safety culture activities involving direct participation by on-site workers, and presented awards for best practices.
The session also featured training on "Building a Culture to Prevent Serious Injuries and Fatalities (SIF)," led by an external safety and health consulting firm. The training covered key principles of behavior management to encourage safe behavior among employees and ways to apply them at worksites.
Sampyo Group plans to translate knowledge and practical skills into improvements in on-site safety management and continuously assess the effectiveness of training and its results in the field. It will compile examples of outstanding safety culture activities into a casebook to share with its affiliates and use it to strengthen on-site safety leadership and spread best practices.

A Sampyo Group official said, "Safety can take root as part of an organization's culture only when every employee recognizes and practices it as the top priority in their daily lives, beyond systems and training. We will foster a safety culture in which everyone naturally follows safety rules, based on worksite-focused safety management and ongoing communication."
