Strengthens Global Corporate Transaction Capabilities
Yulchon Law Firm announced on October 15 that it had strengthened its capabilities in advising on domestic and international corporate transactions and global M&A by welcoming foreign attorneys Kim Junmin and Kim Jungeun.
Foreign attorney Kim Junmin has handled a range of domestic and international cases over 27 years in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and international arbitration. He has represented Elliott funds, Mason Capital Management, and Lone Star Funds in investor-state disputes and international commercial arbitration, and has also worked on major M&A transactions involving domestic and international companies. He previously served as a vice president at AIG Investments, deputy head of the international arbitration team at Shin & Kim, and head of the international arbitration team at KL Partners. Leading international legal publications, including Chambers Asia-Pacific and The Legal 500, have also recognized his expertise in M&A and international arbitration.
Foreign attorney Kim Jungeun is a specialist who has built up experience in global transactions through approximately 10 years of work in M&A and corporate transactions at major U.S. law firms. After working at Lee & Ko and CJ E&M, she advised on a range of domestic and international corporate transactions at a major U.S. law firm. She has been named to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch, selected by the U.S. legal ranking organization Best Lawyers, for three consecutive years since 2023, in recognition of her expertise in mergers and acquisitions and venture capital.
