Melon Music Awards' "Top 10" Draws 30 Nominees; Voting Through Oct. 29
Kakao Entertainment's music platform Melon announced that voting to select the Top 10, one of the main awards at the 2026 Melon Music Awards (MMA2026), will run from October 15 through October 29.
The Top 10 award is given to 10 acts selected from among singers who were active on Melon during the year. The final winners will be determined by combining music streaming performance (60%), judges' evaluations (20%), and user votes (20%).
The nominees include BTS, BLACKPINK, Lim Young-woong, Taeyeon, Bolbbalgan4, Soonsoonhee (Jihwan), I.O.I, ILLIT, Lee Changsub, fromis_9, aespa, AKMU, ALLDAY PROJECT, ATEEZ, and BIG Naughty.
BOYNEXTDOOR, CORTIS, Hearts2Hearts, IVE, KiiiKiii, LE SSERAFIM, NCT WISH, NMIXX, PLAVE, RESCENE, RIIZE, TWS, WOODZ, Choi Yena, and Young K (DAY6) are also nominees. Of these acts, 14 will also perform at this year's awards ceremony.
Melon will give invitations to the awards ceremony to 300 voters in total. It will also hold a separate invitation event for members who have subscribed for at least three years.

The Melon Music Awards, now in its 18th year, will be held on November 14 and 15 at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. KakaoBank is the title sponsor, and for the first time, the event will span two days.
