Next Securities Opens Sinnonhyeon Hub Office, Revamps Work Environment
New work hub established in Sinnonhyeon
Strengthening collaboration with technology talent
Expanding flexible work arrangements based on a selective working hours system
Next Securities said on October 15 that it had opened a new hub office in Sinnonhyeon and would expand flexible work arrangements based on a selective working hours system.
Next Securities recently opened a new hub office in Sinnonhyeon, Seoul, expanding its workspace. It also operates flexible work arrangements based on a selective working hours system, as well as remote work, with the aim of helping employees focus on their work in a more flexible environment.
The Sinnonhyeon office serves as a work hub for some employees in product and technology teams who design and develop new financial services. It was established to broaden connections with technology talent and strengthen collaboration with a range of external partners. The company said it had created an environment where teams in related roles can collaborate to quickly put new ideas into practice and turn them into services.
To ensure smooth collaboration between its existing office and the Sinnonhyeon office, Next Securities plans to provide regular opportunities for employees to interact and collaborate, while continuing to strengthen communication and networks across teams. The company intends to maintain connections between teams despite the separation of their workspaces and build an efficient collaborative environment in step with the growth of its business and organization.
The company has also expanded flexibility in its work arrangements. It operates a flexible work system based on selective working hours, under which employees can adjust their schedules to suit their work and personal circumstances, as long as they meet the total monthly working hours. Employees can freely adjust their start and finish times outside core hours, which run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. They can also work remotely once a week.
Through these changes, Next Securities aims to move away from uniform work practices and help employees demonstrate their capabilities in environments suited to the nature of their work. The initiative is intended to boost focus through a flexible work environment and build an organizational culture based on responsibility and mutual trust.
