At 11:18 a.m., support was expanded with the additional deployment of three recovery support vehicles in preparation for prolonged firefighting operations. The Central 119 Rescue Headquarters also deployed a large-capacity foam system to help contain the fire.
The Commissioner of the National Fire Agency urgently instructed officials to "deploy as many available firefighting resources as possible, prioritizing the prevention of casualties and the containment of the fire," and to ensure thorough safety management at the scene. The commissioner particularly emphasized searching the factory for anyone inside, guiding people to evacuate, securing sufficient firefighting water and using heavy equipment, and ordered a swift response to bring the fire under control.
The commissioner also instructed officials to quickly identify hazards, including the toxicity and explosive properties of substances stored or handled at the plant, and share the information with responders at the scene. Officials were told to take thorough measures to prevent secondary accidents and to implement safety measures, including evacuation announcements, to prevent nearby residents from being harmed by the spread of toxic gases and thick smoke.
No casualties have been confirmed so far, and all 13 people at the plant are believed to have evacuated safely. Fire authorities are continuing to monitor conditions at the scene while making every effort to prevent the fire from spreading and avoid casualties. Once the fire has been completely extinguished, they plan to investigate its exact cause and the extent of the damage.
