RaonSecure's 'OneShield' Receives AI Product and Service Verification Certificate, Targets Public and Financial Security Markets
RaonSecure is stepping up its efforts to target the AI security market in the public and financial sectors, with its AI safety guardrail solution.
RaonSecure said on October 14 that its AI safety guardrail solution, OneShield, had received the “Artificial Intelligence Product and Service Verification Certificate” from the Korea Software Industry Association (KOSA).
The Artificial Intelligence Product and Service Verification Program, established under the Framework Act on Artificial Intelligence Development, verifies whether AI technology is actually applied to a product or service. The program technically evaluates the learning and inference characteristics of the AI used in the product, as well as its contribution to the product’s functions, before issuing a certificate.
OneShield is an AI safety guardrail solution that detects and blocks security threats that may arise as companies use generative AI. It analyzes, in real time, input and output data exchanged between users and generative AI or AI agents, and allows or blocks the data according to preset policies.
As companies make greater use of generative AI, threats that are difficult to address with existing security systems alone are also growing. Typical examples include employees entering sensitive information or personal data into generative AI during work, and attackers using malicious prompts to bypass the security policies set for AI.
OneShield detects and blocks malicious prompt attacks, including prompt injection and jailbreaks. It can automatically identify personal data entered into AI and anonymize or mask it, and it also filters harmful content using a model optimized for Korean. The solution also provides features to control the input of sensitive information and inappropriate AI use in accordance with security policies set by companies or institutions.
Following its receipt of the certificate, RaonSecure plans to expand its OneShield business, focusing on the public and financial sectors. The company expects the certificate to serve as a basis for assessing whether OneShield incorporates AI technology as public and financial institutions consider adopting AI security solutions.
RaonSecure also pointed to further growth potential stemming from the expansion of the AI agent market. As AI agents advance beyond simply providing information to performing actual work, the company expects security technologies that control not only AI input and output data but also access permissions and actual actions to become increasingly important.
“As we move beyond the use of generative AI to a stage where AI agents perform actual work, new security threats—including the leakage of sensitive information, malicious prompts, and policy circumvention—are also growing,” said Lee Jeonga, CEO of RaonSecure. “OneShield controls these threats and helps companies and institutions use AI more safely. With this certificate, we will expand our business opportunities, particularly in the public and financial sectors.”
