Ohouse Unveils Its First Membership, "Moving Pass"
Receive points equal to the membership fee immediately upon payment
Enjoy 180 days of membership for 30,000 won
Ohouse announced on October 14 that it will launch Moving Pass, a membership for users preparing to move. Designed for times when a home is undergoing major changes, such as a move, setting up a newlywed home or interior renovations, Moving Pass covers everything from furniture shopping to moving services.
Moving Pass costs 30,000 won and remains active for 180 days after a single payment. Members receive 30,000 points, equivalent to the membership fee, as soon as they pay. Immediately after signing up, members also receive eight shopping cart coupons worth a total of 300,000 won, which they can choose from based on the size of their purchase.
The more members spend, the more points they get back. Once their cumulative purchases during the membership period reach 1 million won, they earn points worth up to 10% of their purchases, depending on the spending tier. For purchases of 2 million to 3 million won, members earn 10% of the purchase amount, up to 100,000 won in points. For purchases of 3 million to 10 million won, they can receive up to 350,000 won back.
Furniture purchase requirements have also been eased. The existing “package discount” applied only when multiple products were bundled into a single order. Moving Pass members, however, can get a discount guaranteed to match the lowest online price by adding just two pieces of furniture to their cart.
Members who request quotes through Ohouse for any two of the following services—in-home renovations, moving companies, move-in cleaning, internet installation and appliance rentals—receive shopping discount coupons. Members who request quotes for all five services receive additional coupons. Services that previously had to be researched separately can now be compared on Ohouse, and doing so can lead to further shopping discounts.

The new membership reflects users’ actual purchasing patterns. Ohouse’s existing VIP program required members to consistently meet spending and purchase-frequency requirements over the previous three months to retain their status. This made it difficult to receive benefits when purchases were concentrated during moving season. Based on usage data gathered through two rounds of testing since May this year, Ohouse refined Moving Pass and has now launched it as a full membership program.
