NH-Amundi Asset Management: "Agentic AI Era Begins, Benefits Spread Across Models and Infrastructure"
NH-Amundi Asset Management said the global artificial intelligence (AI) industry is shifting toward the era of “agentic AI,” in which AI makes decisions and performs tasks on its own.
On October 14, NH-Amundi Asset Management said it had published its October HANARO ETF Monthly Report, which covers recent trends in the AI industry and investment strategies.
The report said competition in AI performance is intensifying, with major frontier models launching in succession last month, including OpenAI’s GPT-6 “Astra,” Anthropic’s “Claude Opus 5.5,” and Google DeepMind’s “Gemini 4 Argon.”
It particularly highlighted the sharp decline in the cost of using AI models amid intensifying competition. OpenAI’s GPT-6.1 “Sol,” released last month, offers performance close to Astra at one-fifth the price. The report said that, as with “Jevons paradox,” in which lower costs can lead to an overall increase in usage, the volume of work handled by AI and token consumption could also rise.
It also said the benefits of agentic AI’s spread would not be limited to any one model, but would extend across the data, software, and security infrastructure that enables and protects AI models making decisions.
NH-Amundi Asset Management presented the HANARO U.S. Agentic AI TOP2+ exchange-traded fund (ETF) as an investment vehicle for responding to these changes in the ecosystem. The product includes major technology companies such as Microsoft, Alphabet, Meta, and Amazon, as well as key security and infrastructure companies such as CrowdStrike, Dell Technologies, and Datadog. It is designed to allow major privately held AI companies, including Anthropic and OpenAI, to be added through a special inclusion before the next scheduled rebalancing if they go public.
