Gyeonggido Business & Science Accelerator Runs 'Winter Coat-Sharing Campaign' Through Oct. 16; Coats to Go to Foreign Residents
The Gyeonggido Business & Science Accelerator is running the “Winter Coat-Sharing Campaign for Our Foreign Neighbors” through October 16, together with companies based in the Gwanggyo and Pangyo Techno Valleys and employees of related organizations. The campaign aims to help foreign residents in Gyeonggi Province stay warm this winter.
The campaign was organized to provide winter coats to foreign workers, international students, and multicultural families who are unfamiliar with Korea’s cold winters.
The Gyeonggido Business & Science Accelerator is taking part in the 9th “Cheotgyeoul Nanullaetot” initiative, sharing winter coats with companies based in the Gwanggyo and Pangyo Techno Valleys.
To make it easy for employees of tenant companies and related organizations to donate, collection boxes have been placed in the first-floor lobbies of seven buildings in the Gwanggyo and Pangyo Techno Valleys. The campaign is collecting winter outerwear, including jackets, coats, and padded coats.
In Gwanggyo, four buildings are participating: the Gyeonggido Business & Science Accelerator’s Gwanggyo office, Gyeonggi Bio Center, Gyeonggi R&DB Center, and Gwanggyo Business Center. In Pangyo, donations are being collected at three buildings: Global R&D Center, Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, and Startup Campus.

“Cheotgyeoul Nanullaetot” is a public-private partnership initiative that has delivered more than 70,000 winter coats to approximately 26,000 foreign neighbors over the past eight years.
The Gyeonggido Business & Science Accelerator expects the campaign to help spread a culture of sharing in the local community through the voluntary participation of tenant companies and related organizations. It also plans to continue sharing with tenant companies in everyday life and expand its ESG social contribution activities.
