In the second round, the city plans to expand its visits to major project sites and areas where residents continue to face inconveniences, and seek ways to address them.
That day, Mayor Choi met with school officials and parents at Jangseung Elementary School to discuss ways to improve school commute safety and the educational environment. Parents asked for environmental improvements to land near the school owned by the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH), better lighting along school routes near Jangseung Dadam Park, and more children's cultural and sports events.
Mayor Choi instructed officials to work with LH to develop plans for improving the site, and to review options for better lighting along school routes and the use of the park. He also outlined plans for local education and cultural programs to be held in conjunction with next year's Reading Festival.

The road, which leads to major tourist attractions such as Gwangneung and Bongseonsa Temple, has been resurfaced and its drainage channels repaired in response to requests from residents and business owners. Mayor Choi checked the road's condition ahead of the Gwangneung Forest Festival.
Residents said the road at the village entrance was narrow and visibility was poor. Mayor Choi asked the relevant department to inspect the section and review possible improvements.
At a briefing on conditions in Jinjeop-eup, he reviewed major projects and the status of responses to residents' suggestions. In particular, regarding train schedules for trains dispatched from the Jinjeop depot, he urged officials to provide sufficient advance information, including the originating station, so residents would not be confused.
