"Dispute Mediation Enters the AI and Digital Era"... Korea Fair Trade Mediation Agency Shares Expertise with Indian ODR Specialist
Meeting with 'Presolv360' to Be Held
Online Dispute Resolution Cases to Be Shared
As digital technology reshapes the legal and dispute resolution markets, the Korea Fair Trade Mediation Agency (the Agency) is seeking to advance the field by partnering with an Indian organization that has emerged as a leader in online dispute resolution (ODR).
The Agency announced on October 13 that it will hold a meeting on October 14 with Namita Shah, co-founder of Presolv360, an Indian ODR specialist, to exchange experiences and case studies in dispute mediation. Presolv360 is a leading Indian dispute resolution organization that actively uses the internet and digital technology to provide mediation and arbitration services online. It is also a partner in India's public digital infrastructure (DPI) initiative and is leading the evolution of technology-enabled dispute resolution, recently taking the lead in adopting artificial intelligence (AI)-based work processes.
At the meeting, the two sides will share information on the state of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in Korea and ODR practices in India, and discuss in depth how to advance their respective systems. Topics will include the Agency's dispute mediation system and its operations, Presolv360's key ODR cases and arbitration and mediation procedures, and both organizations' experience using technology.
