Hana Securities Lists New U.S. S&P 500 ETN
Hana Securities announced on October 13 that it had newly listed the Hana U.S. S&P 500 TR ETN, which invests in a diversified portfolio of leading U.S. large-cap stocks and reinvests stock dividends.
The Hana U.S. S&P 500 TR ETN tracks the S&P 500 Total Return Index, calculated by S&P Dow Jones Indices, at 1x. It follows price movements of the index's constituent companies while reinvesting dividends, using a total return index methodology.
With the launch of this product, investors can invest in leading U.S. companies through the domestic stock market without having to choose individual stocks, benefiting from asset allocation and long-term investment. It is also an unhedged product that provides exposure to the U.S. dollar.
Lee Sangho, head of Hana Securities' Derivatives Solutions Division, said, "We have expanded the range of ETN products available by offering an option that allows investors to invest in both the price movements of leading U.S. large-cap stocks and the returns from reinvested dividends. We will work to introduce products in a timely manner that meet our customers' diverse investment needs."
