Samsung Life Insurance Relaunches Revised 'Golden Whole Life Insurance'
Samsung Life Insurance said on the 13th that it will relaunch a revised version of Samsung Golden Whole Life Insurance.
Samsung Golden Whole Life Insurance provides a death benefit and also allows policyholders to withdraw an amount equivalent to the premiums they have paid and use it as needed. The revision lowers the barrier to enrollment, allows policyholders to access funds sooner, and adds cancer coverage.
The company is also introducing Simple Golden Whole Life Insurance, which is available to customers with pre-existing conditions. Customers can enroll if they do not fall under any of the three simplified health disclosure items.
A new version with cancer coverage has also been introduced. Under the cancer coverage plan, future premium payments are waived if the policyholder is diagnosed with cancer during the premium payment period. In addition, the Cancer Diagnosis Additional Benefit Service allows policyholders diagnosed with cancer to withdraw up to an additional 100% of the premiums they have paid, on top of the basic withdrawal amount.
Samsung Golden Whole Life Insurance is available to people aged 15 to 65. Policyholders can choose a premium payment period of 7, 10, 15 or 20 years.

With this revision, we will lower the barrier to enrollment and allow customers to access funds sooner, while also adding cancer coverage to provide broader support for their life planning."
