Cozyma's September Massage Chair Sales Up 35%... Affordable Models Popular
"Driven by Demand for Chuseok Gifts and Home Refreshes"
Cozima said on the 13th that massage chair sales in September rose by about 35% from the previous month.
This accounted for about 65% of Cozyma's total sales over the same period. Cozyma attributed the increase to demand for Chuseok gifts for parents, as well as demand from consumers looking to refresh their homes for fall.
In particular, practical models with more affordable prices appear to have appealed to consumers. The top seller was the sleek-looking Oblique. After ranking first in total massage chair sales in the first half of this year, it maintained its lead last month, accounting for 13% of total sales. Sofra and Arco followed in second and third place, with 8.2% and 8.1%, respectively.
These products offer massage functions that users can customize to their needs. The Oblique is equipped with an LS frame, a 3-step foot massage function, and a heating function. Sofra and Arco feature 4D massage functions that allow users to adjust the depth of the massage balls across five levels. Sofra also features a motion frame that reclines to about 166 degrees.
