Expand Distribution Through GS25 and GS The Fresh
GS Retail said on October 13 that it had signed a business agreement with the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) to promote consumption of traditional alcoholic beverages and expand sales channels for local breweries.
Senior officials from both sides, including GS Retail O4O Division Head Jeon Jinhyeok and aT Export Foods Director Jeon Gichan, attended the signing ceremony. The two sides agreed to link GS Retail's online and offline distribution networks with aT's traditional liquor promotion programs to increase sales and promotion of high-quality traditional alcoholic beverages.

Customers can order products online and pick them up at a nearby GS25 or GS The Fresh store. Depending on sales performance, the companies plan to expand sales to offline stores.
In October, GS Retail will operate a dedicated section for traditional alcoholic beverages on Wine25Plus, and in November it will open a "Brewery Visits" section. The companies will also organize joint promotions at the end of the year, including traditional liquor home party packages. They will also launch a local brand development campaign introducing traditional alcoholic beverages made by local breweries using locally grown agricultural products.
